For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the Light of the Knowledge of the Glory of God in the Face of Christ.[1]

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, His body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.  Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.[2]

Things that are common to man are not common to God.  Last year I preached to you about the veil being lifted off of us completely so that we could see clearly what Christ Jesus had accomplished at the cross and how He desires His glory to be manifested through His true disciples.  His death and resurrection through the life-giving Spirit, who raised Jesus from the dead, enabled us complete access to the Father once again.  Thus the Father now seeks those who will come and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.  Our precious Lord freely gave His life, His blood shed for us and His body broken for us, which enabled the veil in the Temple to be torn in two from top to bottom, and thus we entered into a better covenant than the one of goats and bulls.  In this new Light, we could come to the Father in boldness and in grace to receive whatever we needed or desired to receive from Him, but there is a prescribed way to follow when we desire to truly worship the Father in spirit and in truth.

For king David desired the Ark of the Covenant to be brought back to Jerusalem, but in the beginning, he and the people did not follow the correct protocol, neither did they realize that common and holy things of the Lord cannot be mixed.[3]  There was also a prescribed way as to how the singers and the musicians were to conduct themselves before the Lord to bring the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem.[4]  The whole assembly agreed to do this, because it seemed right to all the people,[5]  but they did not inquire of the God of Israel how to do this, therefore this first time it cost them a man’s life, and Uzzah was struck by the Lord God who was angry because they had not considered how it should be done.[6]  When they came to the threshing floor of Kidon, Uzzah reached out his hand to steady the ark, because the oxen stumbled.  The LORD’s anger burned against Uzzah, and He struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark.  So he died there before God.[7]

Jesus shows us the way to worship the Father when Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.  You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.  But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.”[8]

David desired to have a relationship with his God, thus allowing the children of Israel to also have a relationship with their God.  In his zealousness to achieve this, he needed to remember to enquire of God as to how it must be done.

How much more then, must we inquire of the precious Holy Spirit how we are to worship the Father in spirit and in truth.  David had in his heart to worship God out of his own spirit of love for the Father.  And so also, we can only continuously worship God in spirit and in truth as we rely on the continued promptings from the Spirit of Truth, who is the Spirit of God Himself, the Holy Spirit.  Seeing that our bodies are the temple that the Holy Spirit dwells in and lives in, free flow worship of love should just flow out to the Father, simply because we love and adore Him and desire to be one with Him.

Mary Magdalene knew what was common and what was holy.  She sat at Jesus’ feet, which is a posture of worship, and listened to Him, which is the eating of His words.  She received the anointing of the glory of God through the eternal association with the preaching of Jesus’ gospel.  She was in full submission and obedience to Him, because she knew this, she knew what had to be done and she did it perfectly without fuss, and simply followed her Lord to the end and to the beginning.

David had a heart to serve God and he did.  Even though he sinned, his heart was one of repentance.  Mary was of the same, but Mary did what she did for the Lord at the loss of her head (figuratively), and what she did would be told in memory of her wherever the gospel of Jesus was preached.[9]  We need to be of the same heart of continuous repentance, and with a heart that will risk everything for the Lord, the Lord, and the Lord.  This is true worship that releases us to go further with what the Father has for us in His secret place of worship.

David had no veil in his tent, which he had made for the Ark of the Covenant.  When he brought the glory of the Lord back to the nation of Israel, he had his worshippers of singers, musicians and dancers.  God liked David’s worship and the glory of the Lord could be seen because of the continuous worship, which took place at the place of worship, which was his own heart.  David understood that God wanted intimacy with His children.  Mary also knew how to worship and come into intimacy with Jesus by sitting and listening with a focus to hear what He was saying, and therefore Mary knew what needed to be done at the proper time.

So also, you and I have the perfect opportunity to come into this place that the Father has prepared for those who truly desire to be loved by Him and we truly desire to love Him in return, no matter what the cost to worship that it might entail.  Remember all that Jesus had accomplished at the cross and how He said He would ask His Father to send the Comforter, the precious Holy Spirit, to us to reveal all we needed to know and to be a witness to all the words Jesus spoke, thus allowing the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit to take us past the veil and into the Holy of Holies and to prepare us to be face to Face with the Father.  For this is the place the Father has longed for us to come to.  It was therefore necessary to listen to what Jesus Christ had said and practise what He said to do.

In this Light of Love and the Knowledge of the Light of the Glory of His dear Son, we see anew how it cost the Father everything to send His One and Only begotten Son to die such a horrible death at the hands of evil, sinful men.  That He sent His Son, full of grace and truth, to die for us is the greatest expression of how much the Father loves you and me and desires to be one with you and me.  His extravagant love is beyond all measure and holds no stings attached to it, but is pure love and pure light that resurrects you into the glorious hope that you have been called to, thus releasing His mercy because you stood in the gap and said, “Father, kill me, I’m not moving.  Let the judgment stop here at the house of God.  Let Your mercy flow out to those who need You so desperately.”  For these are true worshippers.  We become the veil, those who desire to take their place with the Holy Spirit in intimate worship with the Father of all fathers, the One and Only true God of Heaven and Earth.  Therefore, be ready to listen and to walk in obedience to whatever is spoken to you, and carry out whatever is needed, so that there is no delay to the return of Jesus, our King, our Saviour, our Redeemer, and our Brother, the One and Only begotten Son of the Father, in all His glory and splendour and majesty.

To behold such a privilege as this, we must know and understand this place.  We must not trample over the Son of God underfoot anymore.[10]  He is waiting desperately for a response today.  The Father longs for an intimate relationship from us.  “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says.”

There is an inner room (Sanctuary) that is holy to the Lord (holy to our Father).[11]  The Holy Spirit enables us to enter this place if our hearts are prepared and willing to be 100% for Jesus and for His soon return.  For we must come to understand in this Light of Love, God’s pure love restrains us to push into the more of God all the time, not only by righteous deeds, but to give back to the Father our worship, which belongs to Him 100%.  Worship is not just singing, which is one aspect, but worship is a continual walk of laying down our own desires, wants, dreams, hopes, and our very lives and giving it all back to Him and in their place, taking up His dreams, desires, hopes and wants with His life being resurrected in us.  In this way, you will experience such a treasure and love and oneness that nothing else matters.  In this relationship, all your desires, dreams, hopes and wants are already met in the oneness and unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  This is true worship.  We were created to worship God in this way, in spirit and in truth.  This is the true light of worship, when we are willing to even be undignified before the Lord, that absolutely nothing matters anymore except being in His presence and loving Him and appreciating every moment that we have with Him and allowing time to experience His love and perfection.  This continuous flow of the Holy Spirit and the witnessing of bearing the truth that we have become One with Them, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

So that we can digest what has been spoken and taken place, the Holy Spirit enables transactions to take place, thus bringing Jesus closer back to Earth once again.  The Holy Spirit was showing by this that the way into the most Holy Place had not yet come, or been disclosed[12] as long as the first tabernacle was still standing.  This is an illustration for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to clear the conscience of the worshipper.[13]

So hear and see and know:  It is by only the blood of Jesus that we enter the Holy of Holies to come into His inner court.  It is by the broken and shred body and blood of Jesus on the cross at Calvary that we can go past the threshing floor beyond the veil that no longer exists because of His perfect sacrifice.  The glory of God is ever present in our midst today, as we know and have experienced Him and seen Him in many various ways.  That is why we, as true worshippers, must display God’s glory out to the unsaved and lost people and nations and all over the world so grace and mercy can flow like an endless river of love to these people so that salvation can come to them.  For this also allows the Father to return His Son in these latter days full of the pure light of His Son and knowing that once you reach this place, you will never be the same again.

You take the Holy Spirit with you and He takes you.  It is a quadruple relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Three Persons yet One, and you.  This is the true communion of love at the highest place of worship I know.  “I tell you the truth, Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in You.”[14]  “He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.  He will bring glory to Me by taking from what is Mine and making it known to you.  All that belongs to the Father is Mine.  That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is Mine and make it known to you.”[15]

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit work in complete unison and harmony together.  So today, as we worship in the Light of Love, we must continue to seek to worship the Father in spirit and in truth with such agape love, for God is Love, and therefore we were created to love and be loved by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Without this love, we are not complete and we cannot coexist as true sons and daughters, and kings with the King of kings and Lord of lords.  We must have this and we cannot run away from this love.  For this is the resurrection we have been waiting for.  Let us not keep Him waiting any longer than necessary.  We must go forward to our Father God and receive this blessing.  We couldn’t see it until now, for we needed to listen to Jesus to practise His royal commands to love our enemies, to do good to them and to love each other as Christ has loved us, to continue steadfastly in all the words of Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit, to put them all into practice and to continue to walk in true repentance every day to be fruitful and multiply and increase all the gifts and talents that have been given to us, 30/60/100-fold and to be like the 5 wise virgins who had their lamps full of oil.  They were found not wanting, but rejoicing in the return of the Bridegroom.  Will you and I be found wanting or rejoicing at the return of our King?

So, being a true worshipper of God will require a delicate trimming and lacing of the Holy Spirit to prepare us to be ready to go to such a place.  If you think there is no preparation required, think again!  The Holy Spirit lives in you and is with you.  He is holy as the Father is holy.  We must be dressed in the robes of righteousness of His dear Son.  How easy it is to be distracted.  In this place it cannot happen unless you die and then He, the Spirit, will resurrect you to show you what you didn’t prepare yourself for or what wasn’t ready in your heart.  Then after this process, we might be ready to go to the secret place of the Father, for He longs for us to come and be ready to receive.  We must be dead in this place.  He knows all about us and nothing can be hidden from Him.  He made you and me and knows everything about us.  So do not be surprised when He said, “I am the Vine, you are the branches.  If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.  …As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you.  Now remain in My love.  If you obey My commands, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commands and remain in His love.”[16]

So He chooses those who remain in His love to come to this place of worship.  That is why it is a secret place, for those who truly only worship in spirit and in truth will enter.  Worshipping God in this way enables the time to be shortened and allows the soon return of our King who is our Brother and our Lord Jesus.  “On that day you will realize that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.  Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me.  He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to him.”[17]  This is resurrection in the Light of Love, the resurrection of sonship and daughtership through the Resurrection, which came through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, who is full of love, joy, peace, mercy, justice, and long-suffering.  And we know beyond all detail that our sonship and daughtership and kingship depends on our obedience and steadfastness to walk in the Light of His Glory, to continue to listen to Jesus more closely, to cultivate a closer walk with the Holy Spirit, to practise the words of Jesus more enthusiastically with more perfection and to allow the Holy Spirit to kill us all over again if necessary so that He can have the all of our lives, our hearts, and minds under His control.  This body of ours belongs to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  We must now give Them our total allegiance.

Do not mock!  Whatever you sow, you will reap.  Don’t you know that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit?  Let us worship Him.  Let us come and worship Him!  Amen Father, Amen Jesus, Amen Holy Spirit.

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.  I have seen You in the sanctuary and beheld Your power and Your glory.  Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You.  I will praise You as long as I live, and in Your Name I will lift up my hands.  My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise You.[18]

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your Name in all the Earth![19]

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.  For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.  In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will— to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves.  In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.  And He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in Heaven and on Earth together under One head, even Christ.  In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory.  And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.  Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of His glory.[20]
