What is Easier to Say

Download the pdf file

All who came to Him were healed… all who came to Jesus were healed as Jesus released what was held in His Name, giving testimony to a freedom of the flesh and the spirit and the soul, which we had never known before –

His mercy allowing us to repent of our sins and His grace giving to us what we did not deserve – For against God only have we sinned – and so then in turn as His word stayed not only in our minds but entered into our heart, its form and movement and life pierced our hearts so our forgiveness of others would flow from the undeserved forgiveness given to us –

Forgiveness by God, where our sins are remembered no more – where instant healing manifests as a testimony of the power and authority of Jesus to forgive sins on Earth as they are forgiven in Heaven – healing of the flesh and of the heart and the spirit and the soul as the Father draws us to Jesus who is our testimony, that once we were lost but now we are found – that once we were dead but now we are alive forever in Christ – for we dared to believe and we dared to speak and practise the words of Jesus, which gave us that eternal life – and it would leave an eternal imprint on the members of our body and soul – for even in its glorification, our body retains the imprint of Christ and His word in all of its forms and in all of its revelation –

For what is easier to say?  Jesus asked the Scribes and Pharisees when they questioned in their hearts the authority of Jesus to forgive sins on earth,

‘What is easier to say – Your sins are forgiven you, or say rise and walk…  But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on Earth to forgive sins,’ He said to the man who was paralysed, ‘I say to you, rise – pick up your bed and go home.’

What is easier to say? – It is easier to say ‘rise and walk’ than to say ‘your sins are forgiven’ for no matter how hard it is to say ‘rise and walk’ to a paralysed man, it is still easier to say that than ‘your sins are forgiven’ – or ‘I forgive you’ – and to mean it from the heart –

For how hard it is to forgive from our hearts… to forgive as God forgives us.

But for those Jesus was addressing – in their day to say ‘your sins are forgiven’ was a blasphemy against God for only God alone could forgive sins, so in the world they lived in and in those circumstances, it would have still been easier for them to say ‘rise and walk’ than to say ‘your sins are forgiven’ and so be held guilty under the law of blaspheming God.

But when we bring it into the now – and not being under the law – and not living in their day… the answer is still the same… it is still easier to say ‘rise and walk’ than to say ‘your sins are forgiven’ and to mean it and to know it from your heart.

But so that they may know Jesus had the authority on Earth to forgive sins, He did not just say to them again, ‘I tell you, your sins are forgiven’ for the knowing by them of His authority and the proof of His authority was in the paralysed man rising and walking.

For healing manifested as evidence of His authority to forgive sins on Earth as they are forgiven in Heaven –

Forgiveness manifested in its physical form before their eyes so they may know that He indeed had the authority on Earth to forgive sins, and for them to see the power of the forgiveness of our sins by God – the power of forgiving sins from the heart… the healing power of forgiveness… and the authority that had been given the Son of Man by God the Father…

For the New Covenant for the Forgiveness of Sins of which we are under is the source and the power by which we in turn can forgive those who have sinned against us, for it is the reason why we can rise and walk and are healed of our deafness and blindness and muteness, for without the forgiveness of sins by our Lord and God there would be no healing, let alone any resurrection into the all of God made new…

For only from His forgiveness does ours have its source and its courage to let all be forgiven and be released from our heart – to free us from what still binds us and keeps us not with a face like flint for the Lord and His Will – but with a heart like stone set against the Lord and His Will – Stone from which the water of life does not flow even when it is struck or even when it is spoken to, if it is not surrendered unto Jesus the living Word of God… so He can give change to us with His glory as our forgiveness and love of each other first ebbs tentatively and then flows profusely as the Lord takes the surrender of our heart and our life unto Him and honours now our choice to make every effort to enter by way of the narrow door as we are unchained and set free with an unprecedented freedom unknown before Christ  came – a freedom to rise and walk, and to run and speak, and to hear and believe, and to see and witness what happens when forgiveness enters our heart and our life as it testifies powerfully to us as the power of sin is broken in our life and the effects of sin are cancelled in our flesh.

For as forgiveness has been given us by God, so our repentance before Him becomes a celebration of new life – a celebration of God and His mercy – a celebration of Jesus – a celebration of the truth that what was impossible for men was possible with God – a celebration of those who were lost to death but are now are alive again forever – not a celebration that gives any condoning to what our life was like when we were lost, but a celebration that the lost were found and the dead were given life and that God is on His Throne and that all the Earth is to be still and know that He alone is God Almighty, a forgiving and merciful God –

For the lost and the dying have been given another chance not to remain lost to the voice and the burning Light of His Presence, but to be found and to be found in Him and to be known and to be known by Him – and to be made alive by the voice of Jesus whose voice alone will bring the dead out of their graves into the Light of God that we may, not the Lord, but that we may know that we were lost to the Way, the Truth and the Life, which was given us…

For God knew we were lost and perishing, we didn’t, and even though Jesus came to seek and save the lost, it is not God finding us, but us finding God again through Jesus… us finding the Father again through the Son… us finding our Father again through our Brother… it is us recognising our Saviour and the voice that says ‘remove the stone and you will see God’ –

For He seeks us so we may again love the T/truth – the truth that we had to call on His Name to be saved… saved from ourselves and the indulgences we called life – even called life in the full…

For then the Light that is His Son, pierces the growing darkness with His Sword, as God’s everlasting W/word plunges into our heart and the fire He came to kindle becomes kindled in us… the fire of His Presence, its core ember, its eternal flame never to go out if we stay close to the Lord and remain in His Light, never forgetting the tragedy of what it was like being lost to Him.

For our God can make alive those dead and can find those that are lost with no problem, for giving life and finding the lost is not hard for Him, for nothing is hidden from His view… He always knows where we are, but it is the repentance that He seeks from us then the forgiveness of others from our hearts as the stone is rolled away and Jesus the Glorified One is revealed…

Jesus who came to seek and save the lost… to give us a voice so we can choose to use that voice and to call out His Name – our words that say ‘give to me’ changed to now ‘forgive me’ – Our defiant attitude replaced by a repentant heart that never forgets the immensity of the tragedy of being lost to God and His Voice and His Presence, which leads us into our salvation and our resurrection in Him now and forever more –

For when we ate of what tempted us, the Lord could have come immediately to our rescue, but He had to wait for our call upon His Name – for that would have said everything, for His Name, The Name He gave Jesus, holds all and everything… so He waited to see if we would look His way and call for Him – for if we had, He would have sent an army of His best to bring us back into the Light of His Presence and into the hearing of His voice and into the love of the Truth – but when He heard not a sound from us, not a cry for help or even a cry of distress or despair at the disobeying of His command – He stood back and would not let the command go out to deliver us from temptation for He waited for the signal – He waited for us to turn and look at Him, just as Jesus waited for Peter to turn and look at Him, which he did after the rooster crowed three times – and when Peter did turn and look at Jesus and saw Jesus looking directly at him, he went outside and wept bitterly for his disowning of the Lord… his denial of Jesus was a bitter cup to drink… but when the Lord saw our head not turn to sight His Presence nor to call His Name in the Garden of Eden when we disowned Him, it was because it seemed good to us – it looked good to us and it sounded good to us to endeavour to raise ourselves to the status of God out of our own strength and our own wisdom, as our desire to rebel against Him rose and our desire for Him diminished.

And there was no sound that declared we wanted and needed Him to come and rescue us from this intruder in the Garden – to help us – to forgive us – or to even remind us of what He had told us – even commanded us – for we quickly forgot that He was a good God and willingly believed the lie of the stranger whose intent was evil from the beginning…

For God had showed us the way but we did not walk in it – and there was no signal from us, which would have suddenly and instantly brought Him to our side in protective earnestness with eyes like flames of fire, with feet like burnished bronze refined in a furnace and with a voice like the roar of many waters ~

For He had to honour our choice to not choose Him and to choose the way of darkness for He waits for us to call for His help… for us to acknowledge we are in over our head… that we have entered into something we know nothing about as our voice calls and our hand reaches out and our face searches for the reassurance of His face against ours… reassuring us of His intimate yet powerful presence…

We have to call on the Name of the LORD and repent before Him – for in that Name is all and every passion of the Christ… all and every tear and wound and pain and anguish and despair – every drop of blood… as well as every hunger, longing, seeking, pining, asking, knocking, desiring, wanting and needing of Him… and still also every glory and honour ever to be seen in the presence of men and angels – every exaltation we could ever imagine – and every praise and every worship that is alone His – even every scenario or circumstance or miracle or dream or thought or desire of heart that is and comes from Christ our LORD… all is held in His Name and when we call on His Name, the fullness of what is held in it fills the galaxies with glory unknown to man but only known to God…

For at the Name of Jesus, every knee should bow in Heaven and on Earth and under the Earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father ~

For He is a God who honours our choice even when we do not honour His…

He honours our choice even if it is the wrong choice and goes against all of which is held in the Name of Jesus –

He will honour our choices because He is bigger than all the choices we could ever make and He is more enduring than all the self righteousness we can ever muster….

For He is more of a man than all other men who come to defame Him and to exalt themselves using His Name and His power and His reputation, as His sacrifice becomes the footstool for their ministries ~

And He is more of a God than all other so called gods who come to dethrone Him –

His throne which alone will not permit another to take His place upon it for there is only one true God and only one Jesus Christ whom He did send, and the throne itself is alive with the vibrancy of life, with the power and knowledge of His goodness, and is placed where all and everything is alive and listening for and listening to the voice of God… with more life in them than all those who are as the sands on the seashore as they march up to again try and take the life of the risen Christ of God, the King of kings and the Lord of lords.  But coming up against Life in its abundance – its abundance of glory and power is only vain imaginations on their part, but vain imaginations will soon be changed into God’s imaginations – just as the gift of free will, which He gave us, is still to release its glory and the purpose for which it was given – for now it is used against our Lord and God but when the revelation of God has reached its crescendo in the sight of all mankind our free will shall see its divine and true purpose and we shall walk in the way of its true honour and glory unto God as we love Him in a higher order… a higher understanding… a higher worship… for He Honoured our life and the image we were made in as He honours our choice… for He cannot go against who He is, nor does He want to, nor go against how He made us… even when we are blinded to Him and His children do not even know that there is a Kingdom of Light, for in the shadows they could not see their King, and as they drank of the poison, they forgot their Father as the darkness engulfs our sense of vision and the truth of our true life, and it is only when we call on the Name of the Lord, the Name of our Father that we can see and we can remember for He will charge in as the Warrior and Saviour and Protector and Father and King He is, and this time it will be to honour our choice of His Kingdom of Light… our choice of His Son… our choice of Him…

For He was always ready for His command to go forth and for all who call on His Name to be saved by His ever present wish to have us see the Presence of our King again and for us again to remember our Father who waits for us, but He waits for our call… for us to want to live and not die – for us to want to live life and never die – to want to be living testimonies to the absolute truth of the words of Jesus without a shadow of a doubt… without the shadow of death… without a cup of poison to our lips, and He waits for defiance to change to repentance and for us to walk in the footsteps of Jesus with forgiveness of others coming from our heart, for with all His instincts and with all His senses so sharply aware of us and our needs and our weaknesses – He knows what we want before we even ask for it – He knows our potential before we even release any of it.

And He would indeed love to just ride in and defend our stolen innocence and defend His defamed Name… His own reputation, which He placed in His image when He breathed His own breath into us… even ride in to defend His only Begotten Son…

For He knows we did not know what we were doing even though we thought we did, but because of our free will, which He gave us, He has to wait for us to ask for His help, for giving life and finding the lost and bringing His Light into the darkness is no problem to Him… it is at His fingertips… His command would be obeyed by His legions upon legions of Holy Angels ready to respond to His voice… His word and His every command… His power to save the lost and His power to give life in abundance, a natural ever surging spring, which flows from Him and which cannot be quenched by friend or foe…

For nothing is impossible for Him because He sees why all things should be made possible and knows all the benefits as well as all the downfalls of their manifestation – why they should be made possible by Him and why they should not…

He is not the eternal pessimist but sees with light so brilliant, perceiving the grandness of the detail of the goodness of the outcome of His plan as well as the means by which it comes by – And sees without any shadows the reasons why He can and does do what He does – for just as He knows the cost, He also knows what that cost will bring to Him… what the miracle will bring out of Him… What the miracle will reveal of Him… and what it will do for our growth in Him… our knowing of Him – our revelation of Him…

For nothing has been made, which has not been made through Him and for Him and by Him, and that is the essence of every miracle… why all things are possible with God… why all things were created by Him for Him and through Him… it is for us to come to know the only One true God and Jesus whom He sent so all strongholds, which are set up against Him, can be torn down…

For all things are possible if it is for Jesus… if it is for Jesus and His glory – if it is for His Gospel and His word… if it is for His return… if it is for His arrival… if it is for His honour… if it is for the world to know that He was sent by the Father and that the Father loves us just as He loves Jesus… if it is for the world to know that we are His disciples… if it is for the Father to continue to be made known… if it is for the great purpose of the Father ~

Everything is possible with God if it leads us to God… if it reveals Jesus… if it reveals the Holy Spirit and His testimony of Christ Jesus.

Everything is possible if it is for the Father… if it is for the Son… if it is for the Holy Spirit for if it is for the great purpose and plan and dream of the Father, then it remains impossible no more… nothing is impossible if it is for Christ… if the Name of Jesus and all of which is held in that Name will receive glory and honour and exaltation through it, for then and only then does God make all things possible for us… for only for Jesus is the impossible made possible… for only because of Jesus was the impossible made possible for us…

And He does weigh the cost of every miracle, everything made possible by Him, and weighs it against the purpose of it… the outcome from it… how it reveals Jesus… how it reveals the Father… how it reveals the Holy Spirit… how it reveals the truth and in what Light is it being revealed, whereas men only see and reason why something is not possible… why it should not be made possible… why it should not be done, practised or made manifest – and the way we perceive it distracts us from why it can be done, should be done, needs to be done and is waiting to be done, for God is waiting for it to be done by US NOW…

For there is no later, only now… only now counts… only now can we glorify Jesus for we only have the now, and it is not by might nor by power but by His everlasting Spirit for the flesh is weak but the Spirit is willing… Always willing to glorify Jesus and to make Him the King and Lord of our life – where our heart is the living throne of His splendour – where God is in His temple and all the world is to be still for Jesus has left the Heavens and is heading our way in the flesh, and the Holy Spirit who is always with us is the deposit in our hearts of all of what and all of who is still yet to come –

For all mankind sinned and all participated in the death of Jesus – for it was the sins of all mankind that brought about His death when we consider that it was God’s only method of making payment for sin, and by His method of making payment for sin, we who sinned brought about His death with undeserved violence upon the Cross at Calvary.

For when Jesus left the Praetorium, the cross was on Him but then at Calvary it was He on that cross –

And Calvary that day revealed to the whole human race that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life, but whoever does not believe in Him stands already condemned because he has not believed in the Name of God’s One and Only Son ~

And the darkness that consumed the cross and Calvary, a testament of the truth of His words that those who do not believe in the Name of God’s only begotten Son stand condemned, and the darkness of that condemnation giving the Earth to violent earthquakes as it split asunder under the weight of God’s testimony… under the weight of God’s mercy and grace… under the weight of His method of making payment for sin… and under the weight of His love for the world ~

God’s only method of payment for sin was made possible… only made possible by Him and with Him ~ possible because Jesus could and would pay the debt we deserved to pay but which was impossible for us to pay…

And He could have reasoned that it would have cost too much, that He could have made it not possible for He can do as He pleases… He could have said that it would have required too much of His heart and His endurance and His patience… required too much from His Son and from His Holy Spirit… it would demand too high a price even though He was Love complete and He was perfect in Power and in Justice… that He was all that love was, and He was endless in all His attributes and qualities and there was no other Saviour but Him… there was no other God but Him… there was no other Love besides Him… but it would demand much from His own personal sanctuary… His own personal life… His own person… the flesh of Jesus torn apart… the heart of His Spirit torn open as the process of atonement reached its climax –  the Father to render His heart asunder as R/resurrection tore through the universe in loud shouts of its finished… God is making all things new… R/resurrection and L/life have come to all men through Jesus the Lord and Christ of all –

But as His eyes penetrate all things, He sees with clarity what makes it worth being made possible… He sees why He should even consider giving it manifest presence for even His unequalled love, which defies all boundaries, physical and spiritual, tore itself apart down to the core of such sacrifice in defiance against all things that dare to perpetrate and desecrate its core meaning and core values… who dare to question the heart of His L/love for all ~ the core fire of all life…

Where comes the beauty of form and of thought and of word and reveals Jesus the supreme beauty and the highest thought of God – and see that we were meant to be beautiful and unscathed with nothing meant to hurt us or take us from Him… yet at separation we let out not a whisper, a cry, a shout, a plea, a sign that we were in distress or even noticed the loss of His burning Presence – that we did not even notice the loss of such intimate contact with Him – of such teachings from Him – of such wisdom – of such a fountain of knowledge – or notice the loss of such walks in the cool of the day for now we hid from Him, for such is the distinct difference between the life of truth and the life we live when we are living the lie –

The lie that separation from Him is permanent…

For we were meant to remain beautiful and unscathed with only God to teach us about life and its meaning and its fire and its beauty and where it was taking us to – and to teach us how to live life in its abundant measure of knowledge and power and living it in a form of flesh as Christ did and in the form of Spirit as the Father did – and how to live it within our heart, within our spirit, within our soul perfectly – and to never ever lose our will to live life in His abundance and to live it with all our might and with all the passion of our Christ… live the all of our measure of God with which we were created to have within us and did have within us…

Nothing to distract us from this life with Him, but only the Lord to attract us to all of life within Him –

And it was ours and we lost it – we abandoned it – we threw it away – we trampled it under foot – we let it slip so easily from our grasp by our own stupid ignorant foolishness –

But not again – never again will we fail to grasp all of the height, width, length and depth of our Lord… never ever again do we want to miss a moment of any hour for which the Lord was born… of why He came into the world… of why He created… of why He will make all things new ~

For God has given us another chance and for us, a brilliance second chance, which will see us witness the return of the One we pierced, and now not to be against Him but only for Him and with Him forever… and it is up to each of us to never lose it, abandon it, throw it away, defile it, abuse it, devalue it or to forget it for by our sins we caused Jesus to be put to death, for that was the only method of God for the payment of all sins and what was impossible for men, God made possible with Jesus, and what has been made possible for us by Jesus we will never let fall from our grasp again…

And so if we fight among ourselves then we have stopped fighting for the honour and reputation of the Lord and of having our testimony of Him as our prime focus and the very essence of every breath we breathe… we are not given breath now to revile against each other with words that are an insult to the Spirit of Grace –

For every breath we are given now is to keep us alive yet another day to glorify Jesus for that is the very reason we are kept alive… for Jesus… the very reason for the words of Jesus by which we live on… they are given for Jesus ~

And we cannot do both… we cannot fight for the Kingdom of God to made manifest in power on Earth as it is in the Heavens and fight against each other at the same time… our undivided attention on Him will be divided by what we think may be something small and insignificant but nothing which divides us is small and insignificant in the scheme of where we are – but will divide and conquer us, bringing dishonour to the Spirit of Sonship and bringing disgrace to the Spirit of Resurrection and Life who has taught us better than that – for the example He has given us is Jesus Christ our own Lord and Saviour who is and will be our King on Earth as He is in the Heavens…

For anything that takes our attention off the end game or even divides it for but a moment in time, will be for us the last of the game we will participate in with the Holy Spirit who is and will manifest as the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord, and such will be our fear of Him if the Testimony of Jesus He has given us has been trampled underfoot due to our lack of self control and our lack of honour for His Name and His Glory to be upheld at all times.

For we know that divided we fall… that divided we bring disgrace and ridicule to our Lord… that divided we bring not only anger to the heart of the Father but anguish at our refusal to learn from His Holy Spirit as He teaches us to learn and grow from our mistakes and those mistakes made by those who went before us.

For only in unity can we stand… even stand before the Lord at His coming ~

For in unity did the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit come to rescue us with Their perfected plan of salvation and resurrection, for if They were divided, we would not have stood a chance of being salvaged from the wages of our sin, which is death, but united in Their plan for salvation and resurrection and for God to dwell with man and for He to be their God and they to be His people… united in Their plan to make all things new… did They come… and the gates of Hades cannot and will not prevail against the body of Christ… the body of the risen Christ – When His church unites as one as He is One with the Father having Jesus always as the Head of the resurrected Church, the church full of the Presence of His Resurrected Power – full of the presence of the Spirit of Resurrection.

For we may not know all the details of the end game as yet but in our heart we know – we know it is the game to end all games… the game to end the age… the game that brings the beginning to the end and the end to its new beginning…

For this is a relationship for life that we are forging with the Lord – carving out with Him in every moment we abide in Him and His word – as He and His word abides in us – when we have so much life in us that we cannot die because it is pressed down and flowing over – this life extraordinaire that He has given us if we dare to believe that all things are possible with God.

For if they were not, we would not be standing here having been washed in His blood and salvaged from perishing for what we could not do, He did for us –

For His salvation is by grace, and not by works, but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and He has given us our life expectancy – that is teaching us what is expected from our life with the Lord who sees past this age and into the next and then past that age and into the next when all is made new – even our life with Him – even our relationship with Him made new.

And as time shortens, we do not need to yell to make Jesus known… we do not need to scream for the world to listen to hear His voice… we do not need to shout for His Power to be acknowledged… but we do need to roar… the roar of the lion… the roar of the lioness… and from what world that roar comes from God only knows… but we do know that it is the roar of the Lion of the tribe of Judah and into this world He is soon arriving in the flesh…

For the gaping hole in our souls JESUS has filled… our darkness JESUS has pierced… our lost souls JESUS has salvaged… our memory of our Father JESUS has resurrected… our debt JESUS has paid… our life JESUS has given us… and His Kingdom He has bestowed on us ~

And the cross no longer bears the body of Christ – the tomb is empty – Jesus is risen – and our life is in His blood – and we thank God that the sprinkled blood of Jesus graciously forgives instead of crying out for vengeance as the blood of Abel did ~

We thank God that He forgive us – and that to forgive from our hearts and to say I forgive you from our heart is only another testimony as to the power of His love to change us… a testimony of His glory which changes us and makes us one with each other as Jesus is One with the Father… for as forgiveness flows, healing in the physical and in the spiritual flows and will testify to the power held in the forgiveness of sins as the power of sin is broken in our life and the effects of sins is cancelled in our flesh… as the glory of God breaks through in us and all who come to Jesus are healed…

For what is easier to say: ‘your sins are forgiven’, or just, ’rise and walk’…

And for Jesus and with Jesus – our authority on Earth to forgive sins and to forgive them from our heart will have its testimony when we say the harder thing, which is ‘your sins are forgiven’ and the lame walk, the blind see, the deaf hear, the mute speak, the dead are raised and those with leprosy are healed…

For as Jesus said, ‘Take away the stone and you will see God’ –

Take away the stone and you will see the GLORY OF GOD and you will be glad that you called on the Name of the Lord and you will know why every knee will bow to Jesus and every tongue will confess that He is Lord and know why that is to the Glory of God the Father –

Know why JESUS IS THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER.

And know why He is the only One who could ever be the Resurrection and the Life within us and why He is the only One who could ever be the Resurrection and the Life of The Lord God Almighty Himself ~ To the eternal Glory of God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit ~

And the Spirit and the Bride say, ‘come’ – and the resurrected Church of our Lord Jesus Christ says, ‘COME… Lord Jesus come ~ Come and let our King now take His Throne.’

AMEN
