Perhaps it may be that you are quite comfortable, relaxed or even self-assured that you were not only called by the Father, but you were then chosen by God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and then, yet more again, the Holy Spirit has set you apart for election and did elect you…

But as for me, I find myself living daily a life of the miraculous; a life that is miraculous, inexplicable, and daily causes me to be in constant awe, gratitude and delightful thankfulness to the Lord God Almighty that somehow for some elusive incomprehensible reason, They found something in me which gave Them the pleasure to choose me, even me… and that the Holy Spirit has elected me, even me, is miraculous and beyond my understanding…

Therefore, I want to thank my Father, my Brother and my Counsellor…

I want to thank Them, that my Father has allowed me the privilege of being His child…

I want to thank Them, that Jesus has privileged me to become His co-heir…

I want to thank Them, that Holy Spirit has privileged me that He befriends me and counsels me…

I want to thank Them for Their plan of Redemption through Salvation, bought and completed by the sacrifice of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ…

I want to thank Them that this victorious sacrifice was so carefully and meticulously planned and prepared that it would unfold in the manner of the promotion of Their enemies, death and the devil, into an assured defeat with an absolute once-for-all sacrifice for all that and for all who was lost…

I want to thank Them for Their Word, the Word who spoke all things into existence and the Word who is the Resurrection, the Way, the Truth and the Life, who spoke what was imagined for me into existence and gave me the word that I may fulfil that very word that it would live in and through me…

I want to thank Them for Their P/power which raised the Resurrection in victory from the dead…

I want to thank Them for the condemnation I did receive that drove me to that place of repentance where I did call on the Name of Jesus to freely receive the assurance of salvation bought for one and all who would only believe that the Father sent His One and Only Son Jesus to save the world…

I want to thank Them that just to believe in God’s One and Only Son saved me from perishing and gave me eternal life[1]

I want to thank Them for Their immeasurable generous gracious act of justification that declares all who believe in the Name of Jesus, and believes Jesus is the Father’s One and Only Son as God has said, that we are declared free of blame or guilt and are absolved of the penalty attached to our sins… for the price was paid by the sacrifice of the One and Only Son, Jesus…

I want to thank Jesus for His sacrifice for which I personally did nothing to deserve or could ever earn even throughout all of the eternal life now given to me…

I want to thank Them that I did not have to sacrifice the blood of bulls and goats, or even have children so that I could sacrifice them to earn myself merit, or neither did I need to cut myself or pay certain penances or do great acts of ‘good’ or such righteous deeds that I might earn salvation in the uncertain hope that I might ever possibly achieve any of these things to the necessary degree…

I want to thank Them with eternal gratitude for Their acceptance of me when many have had difficulty in accepting me for being too shy, too simple, too ignorant, in the wrong social bracket, too straight, too direct, too snobbish, at one time outlawed by in-laws, considered in a position unmerited… but You, my God, accepted me unconditionally…

So, I want to thank You for Your friendship and fellowship with me… a benevolence undeserved by me arising from Your desire to promote the welfare and happiness of others, and I am soooo blessed to be called, “Friend”…

I want to thank You for Your love poured out to me… for every touch, every kindness, every goodness, every mercy, every joy, every peace provided for me, every patient endurance as You draw me to come to this place of depth of favour, every rebuke, every discipline and even every strike that caused me to turn back from paths which lead to death onto the path which leads to life…

I want to thank Them for Their unmerited favour given to me…

I want to thank Them that I have ones who persecute me that I may practise loving my enemies as my Lord Jesus has done…

I want to thank Them for these persecutors who my Lord God Almighty uses to drive me deeper into Them… what a gracious, loving privilege…

I want to thank Them for ordering my life that in all of these things I would be drawn to Them to come to know and understand Them…

I want to thank Them that through the victorious sacrifice of the body and blood of Jesus, the legal right of adoption for us as sons and daughters of His Father was sealed, and that I share in this favour for which I am utterly astonished at the immensity of this generous privilege to me…

I want to thank Them for the forgiveness of my sins, which is the ultimate act of kindness to such an intense gracious degree of generosity, I am indebted to Them forever… not that They have made indebtedness a requirement, but that I willingly give myself continuously in submission to death of self that They may have Their life in me, not that They need me, but that I am a vessel for Their use in whichever way They choose, whether for noble use or humble use, whether to be discarded or to be on show, whether as a pawn to bring another into promotion or to be promoted for Their glory…

I want to thank Them for the assurance of the raising of the dead through the resurrection of Jesus… not just the raising of the body, but also that what I die to can be raised up for Their glory…

I want to thank Them for Their glory, which has been given to us that we may be one as They are One to let the world know that the Father sent Jesus and that He loves us even as He loves Jesus…

I want to thank Them for this nature-changing glory, which changes the substance of thing, it alters that which is dead to the state of being alive and the state of what is alive to that which becomes dead; it changes hearts of stone to hearts of flesh; water to good wine; wood to bronze and bronze to gold, stone to iron and iron to silver…

I want to thank Them for repentance that allows the washing of the blood of Jesus to flow over us to cleanse of our sins…

I want to thank Them that all we need to do is repent and follow Jesus… so easy… such an easy yoke and such a light burden…

I want to thank Them that our Father gave us only one decree and one command, for He said, “This is My Son whom I love. With Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!”[2] And Jesus said, “Follow Me…”

I want to thank Them for all Their gifts to us and all the gifts poured out upon us…

I want to thank Them for Their skills given into each of us, and that I have my share…

I want to thank Them for Their talents given into each of us, and that I have my share… whether it be one blade of grass or basket loads of precious treasures, I have received more than I ever deserved and each skill and each talent is priceless beyond compare, a majestic treasure, each in their own right…

I want to thank Them for the work I have to do for Them, and that They specially prepared me for this time and this place that this work may be carried out and enjoyed by me as… I want to thank Them for this tremendous privilege…

I want to thank Them for the widow’s mite and the wealth of the rich, that in Their righteous judgment, she who gave only one mite, gave more than all the wealth of the richest men, for they still had leftovers but she had nothing to live on… and in God’s righteous just judgment, she receives a reward far, far greater than these rich men for they never out gave her… For You, O Lord God Almighty, are perfect in justice in all Your judgments for they are carried out in righteousness and in humility… and no man can buy You to sway Your judgment…

I want to thank Them for all of Their judgments for we all sinned and fell short of the glory of God… yet all judgment is carried out by GRACE… undeserved, unmerited GRACE; and all judgment, whatever rule it metes out, is of the utmost graciousness and righteousness in its charity to us…

I want to thank Them for the deliverance and all the healings as well as the miraculous healings I have received in my body, and in my brokenness and in my life…

And I want to thank Them for every time They use me to minister to another… This is such an undeserved privilege…

I want to thank Them for the food and drink I have to eat, both physically and spiritually…

I want to thank Them for the beautiful home I have to live in which my father-in-law provided for his family…

I want to thank Them for the car that I have to drive and that all my bills are being paid…

I want to thank Them for the leftovers…

I want to thank Them for the clothing I have to wear, and the trinkets I have to enjoy…

I want to thank Them that I wake up to creation surrounding me, that I am able to step onto grass and enjoy the flowers and the trees, the birds and the bees, the sun, the moon and the stars in the sky, the daytime and the night time, the animals and the insects; all of which reveal a little something of our God…

I want to thank Them that They show us Their own visions, hopes and dreams that we may begin to know and come to understand Them with the generous opportunity that we can work to provide the outworking of them for the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit…

I want to thank Them for these unstinting tremendous opportunities…

I want to thank Them that They provide the possibility of our own hopes and dreams to be brought into fruition for us to enjoy… what a privileged existence we have entered into…

I want to thank Them that all my days are ‘holydays’; that I no longer need to go searching for rest in secluded places… or fun in frivolous places… or satisfaction is shopping havens…

I want to thank Them that I no longer need to get drunk on wine or spirits to wipe out any unhappiness, for I am continuously drunk on a delightful mix of the most sophisticated mellowed full-bodied grange hermitage of the Father and the intoxicating fruitful wine of the Vine, Jesus, and the glorious cocktails by the Holy Spirit of the outpouring of Their giddying unconditional holy love…

And there is so much more… all the daily comforts… the whisperings from the Holy Spirit… the revelations to each of us individually and to us as a brethren for us to hold personally in our hearts or for us to shout from the rooftops… I want to thank Them, whether given to me or to one of my brothers or sisters, I want to thank Them…

I want to thank Them for calling, choosing and electing each of you and that we learn together with each other and build each other up as They do build us up… That we come to that place of unity and oneness, as we understand in the depths of our very being that all of this is such an incomparable holy privilege… such unmerited favour… such enormous grace…

I want to thank Them for this time, this electing, this work, this hope, this future, this life and this life eternal, I want to thank Them for the Millennial Reign of our Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords…

I want to thank Them for kingship and for Judgment Day and for that which is accorded to us for the eternity to come on the New Earth and in the New Heavens…

For all of this we have been given is of the miraculous… and I just want to thank Them…

Join with me in your thanks.
