“Of faith in God” is not just having faith in God that you believe in God, but to come to know of the faith that is in God… the faith that the Holy Spirit dispenses as His gift of faith as Paul listed for us (the 1st nine gifts of faith) to another, faith by the same Spirit…

Beyond knowing what faith is, the basics of which we should be familiar with by now, that without it, no one can please God and that it is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.  …the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.  …the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality.  …the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.    Or rather recombined – Faith is the substance and assurance of things hoped for, the evidence and conviction of things not seen.  Faith is being sure of what we hope for, perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.  And without faith it is impossible to please God.

For most of us, we have ‘believing faith’ of the type which Jesus spoke of when He taught us the Law of Faith.  “Have faith in God.  I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.”  However, the faith that is in God is not ‘believing faith’ as God does not need to believe because of the omnipotence of His knowledge.  Rather, the faith that is in God is ‘knowing faith – that is the faith of someone who knows, not someone who believes.  God does not believe that which He says will be done.  God knows what He says will be done, and there is no question of whether God has or has not any doubt.  The type of faith God has, has no doubt to oppose it because His faith is based on His knowledge.  He knows what will happen once He has planned it, spoken it and put His hands to it, and once that process is complete, He only needs to wait for the results.

It is what Jesus was trying to show us in the Parable of the Growing Seed.  “This is what the Kingdom of God is like.  A man scatters seed on the ground.  Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.  All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head.  As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”  This is what the Kingdom of God is like—giving us an image or an allegory of the real thing—what the Kingdom of God is, not what it is like.  You could say the Earth is like a round ball, but that still does not tell us what the Earth is exactly.  In the parable, Jesus said, A man… though he does not know how…”  The exact truth of the Kingdom of God, not the likely truth of the kingdom of God, that is what the Kingdom of God is and not what it is like, would have had that sentence changed to read, “A man scatters seed on the ground… the seed sprouts and grows because he knows exactly how.  God is the Man who does know how the seed sprouts and grows.  God knows exactly how the seed sprouts and grows, because it sprouts and grows if He sends the rain and if He sends the sun, and the soil has the nutrients which are taken up in a certain exact way as He has prescribed, and when all the due processes that He has put in place are applied, there will be growth and there will be harvest.  That is God’s knowing faith, whereas the man who does not know how the seed sprouts and grows has believing faith.  He believes it will sprout and grow though he does not know how.  God knows it will sprout and grow because God knows how it will sprout and grow.

This is the faith that is in God, which is a step up from having faith in God as in believing God, but rather coming to that ‘knowing faith’ as God has.  I don’t have to believe that if I blaspheme the Holy Spirit I will never be forgiven.  That is my knowing faith.  I don’t have to believe Jesus will come back.  I know He is arriving soon.  As such, I do not avoid blasphemy of the Holy Spirit because I believe that gets me condemned forever, but I avoid blasphemy of the Holy Spirit because I know that will get me condemned.  It is like I don’t step off a tenth floor balcony believing I can fly; I step of a tenth floor balcony knowing I will fall to the ground.  So if suicide is what I purpose, that’s when I will do it… step off the balcony.  But if I want to fly, I will catch a plane until I have mastered the power of God to actually fly.

That knowing faith is the faith that comes from knowing the Truth, and God is the One who knows the Truth, for He knows Jesus the Truth and the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, and the knowledge of the Truth sets God free.  God is free, because He knows the Truth and the Truth has set Him free… free from believing faith, which carries with it doubt as its close companion, for knowing faith has no doubt.  So God is free from that which we suffer because our faith is believing faith, but the words of Jesus, the teachings of Jesus when practised diligently, will carry you over from believing faith to knowing faith… the faith of one who knows.  That is why He taught His disciples, “If you hold to My teaching, you are really My disciples.  Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

God lives in ‘all knowing faith’—that is the faith in God, whereas we start our journey with ‘all believing faith’, which through practice and time is changed into knowing faith.  Because we have seen God open Richard’s eyes, we don’t believe that God can cause the blind to see… we know that God can cause the blind to see.  And the more we see of blind men seeing, the more we will know.  Thus, the practice of the word of God will lead you from believing faith to knowing faith in the same way that a wise man who has built his house on the rock knows that his house will not be swept away.

An engineer who has built a bridge according to all the requirements of the Laws of Physics knows, not believes, the weight the bridge can support, so he confidently sends trucks across it in full expectation of their arrival on the other side.  Likewise, holding to the teachings of Jesus like an engineer holding to the Laws of Physics, will ensure that we will live our lives as God intended, and will bring us to the place of faith that knows, and set us free from faith that believes and its associated doubts.

It is when you understand that the faith in God is ‘knowing faith’, then God prepares Himself to receive the results of that which He has imagined, spoken and done, for it will come to pass.  And His preparation is not in vain, but in confidence awaiting the day of harvest.  Thus God is patient, with patient endurance.

Ignorance and lack of understanding is what destroys believing faith, because a lack of knowledge and understanding of the way things work will destroy believing faith when it is disappointed and is not permitted to mature from believing faith to knowing faith, from having faith in God to faith in God where it means the faith that is in God.  I have taught God has no need of faith because He knows everything.  That is true, for God has no need of our type of faith.  Our type of faith, believing faith, pleases Him and in His kindness and mercy, He changes our believing faith to knowing faith by giving eternal life to all who believe in Jesus, so that they may come to know Him and God who sent Him.

Thus, there is a faith that lives in God—the knowing faith—God has faith in God—the Father has faith in the Son, which is why He said, “This is My Son, whom I love.  With Him I am well pleased.  Listen to Him!”  And Jesus has faith in the Father, which is why He obeyed the Father’s commands, even to the point of death on the cross and the Holy Spirit has faith in both the Father and the Son, which is why He allows Himself to be poured out on all flesh and will not speak on His Own; He will speak only what He hears” the Father and Son say.  The Lord Jesus has faith in the Holy Spirit to do what He sent Him to do, just as the Father had faith in Jesus to do what He sent Jesus to do, because They know the Person in whom They have believed.

Your growth to maturity in faith in God must rise from you being drawn to Jesus by the Father, as Jesus has said, “No one can come to Me unless the Father has enabled him.”  And that you have been called by Jesus, “Follow Me,” and chosen by Him just as the twelve were chosen by Him for election by the Holy Spirit.

If you know it, you would not boast of it like one who believes would boast, saying “I had a dream!  I had a vision!  I believe… I believe…” as many are in the habit of saying, “I believe God wants to bless you… I believe God wants to heal you… I believe God wants to see His people prosper…”  But if you would have to say it, you would begin to say it more and more like Jesus, knowing who drew you, who called you, who chose you and who elected you, so that like Jesus, you can say, “…for the very work that the Father has given Me to finish, and which I am doing, testifies that the Father has sent Me.”

So what is the work, which you are doing, that you can say the same thing, as Jesus did, that the very work, which you are doing testifies that the Father has sent you?  Is it to build a church?  Is it to preach the gospel?  Is it to heal the sick?  The only work the Father gave any of the disciples to do was to “believe in the One He has sent.”  The fact that you are listening to Jesus is the proof that the Father has drawn you.  Only then can you say your preaching of the gospel and your ministry is truly what Jesus sent you for, for then you have entered through the Gate that is Jesus.  Otherwise, if you are preaching the Gospel and working in the church without listening to Jesus to believe in Him, and without knowing that you must listen to Jesus, then, the bad news is, God did not draw you, but you may have jumped the fence without going through the Gate.  The truth is:  Anyone who comes to know that the work required is to believe in the one He has sent, and follows the logic to find out what Jesus did say so that he or she knows what to believe; to do that, he or she has to obey the command, “Listen to Him!”

You are listening to Jesus so that you can believe in what He said, that is how you know you are drawn by the Father.  The presence of the Holy Spirit with you and in you, tells you that Jesus has called you and chosen you, for He said, “As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.  Receive the Holy Spirit.”  As a fellowship, we know who sent us, and the work, which testifies that Jesus has sent us, is because we practise and strive to learn to listen to the Holy Spirit, for seven times Jesus said, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

That is how you know, by the work that you are doing, as to who sent you.  As such, the knowing faith you and I must acquire and develop in God is the faith that says, “This I know…”  It is the faith that accompanies the testimony that declares the saving grace of God’s word that we are witnesses of God’s faith—or the faith that is in God—is the faith of a true witness who declares what he knows, not what he believes, and acts by what he knows and not reacts by what he believes.

Believers will preach and react to the response their preaching has provoked.  Knowers will declare the truth and prepare, or act in accordance to the truth they have declared, regardless of the reaction.  God has declared the truth and God acts according to the truth He has declared.  God does not react, but acts.  That is why God did not rescue Israel earlier, but waited for the full 430 years to be fulfilled, for that was the truth He declared to Abraham, “Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own, and they will be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years.”  Just because the slavery was severe, it did not cause God to react and deliver Israel before the 400 years.  You might say, God is insensitive to the suffering of His people, or if you looked at the record carefully, you might find that it was the people who prevented God from reacting to their suffering because while they were in Egypt, the Israelites were engaged in the worship of false gods “…when during her youth [in Egypt] men slept with her, caressed her virgin bosom and poured out their lust upon her.  They became prostitutes in Egypt, engaging in prostitution from their youth.  In that land their breasts were fondled and their virgin bosoms caressed.  The older was named Oholah, and her sister was Oholibah.  They were Mine and gave birth to sons and daughters.  Oholah is Samaria, and Oholibah is Jerusalem.”

Likewise now, God will act according to His word.  If we had obeyed His decree and His command, the church would have lived in the material blessings of Leviticus 26 instead of manifesting the punishments for disobedience of Leviticus 26, which happens to those who will not listen and obey His decrees and carry out His commands.  You and I may plead ignorance, but can we when the Bible is in such abundance in this land?  Except we have no idea what is written in the Bible because we have not read it diligently, so that when we pray, we pray in ignorance with believing faith that saves our souls and gets us raised on the last day, but does nothing for us in between.

So now, you will know that you are the elect of the Holy Spirit if the work, that which you are doing, testifies on behalf of you.  What is the work which you are doing?  If it is the preparation of the Earth and the church, which is the Temple of God, for the arrival of the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are elected and that is how you know.  Do not believe that you are elected.  You must know as God knows.  God knows those He has called, chosen and elected and He has faith in them, which is shown by the display of His power through them.  God knows those He can trust, and He proves it by a clear and simple demonstration of His power for them, through them, and finally by them.

With believers, the Lord worked with them confirming His word by the signs that accompanied it.  With the apostles of Jesus Christ, God worked through them with signs, wonders and miracles, or as Paul said, with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power and to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

Now, just before the Lord’s arrival, He will allow His power to be demonstrated by the elect through men and women who have power to shut up the sky so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.  Thus the faith you must have—the faith in God is the knowing faith that is in God—to know as God knows so that you believe as God believes.

John the beloved wrote to encourage us:  But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.  I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.  And how do we know that the Spirit we have received, the Holy One, is from God?  John wrote:  this is how you can recognize the Spirit of God:  Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.  Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world.

Then surely, He who teaches us that Jesus has come in the flesh and is getting us to prepare to greet Him at His arrival in the flesh, is truly the Holy One from God, the Holy Spirit.  That is how you and I know, and that is when our faith is changed from believing faith to knowing faith.  We declare the good news of Christ, His glorious gospel, knowing that He has come and is arriving soon.  We pray knowing He is arriving soon, we prepare our lives knowing He is arriving soon, we prepare our families knowing He is arriving soon and we prepare ourselves to live here with Him for His millennial Reign.  When your thoughts, speech and action all reflect this knowledge, then you have the faith in God needed for this time of distress that is soon to begin and is now here.

David prepared for the Temple of God that he wanted to build for God by laying aside gold, silver, iron, bronze, wood and stone in vast quantities.  Such was his confidence that he would build the Temple, that he began to amass it.  Not that God told him to build it, but he wanted to do it for God in his heart, so his mind set to work on the plans and his hands put into action the accumulation of the wealth of material that would be needed.

Likewise, we know Jesus is arriving soon, and the Temple must be made ready, and the Earth must be made ready.  David wanted to do it, so if indeed we are to be greater, we must want to do this more than David did, with all our heart and mind and might and soul.  We believe God wants His Son met with honour at His arrival even though He has not said so, and even though Jesus has only voiced, “…when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the Earth?”

If we have the knowing faith, the faith that is in God, then we can say, “Yes, you will find faith, not only believing faith, not the faith which says, ‘I believe,’ but the faith which says, ‘I know…’ ”  It is not the faith which says, “I believe, thus I spoke…” but the faith which says, “I know, thus I acted…”  We know God wants His Son glorified AND HONOURED, so we act in the same way as David… we put into motion plans to gather the material, the gold, silver, bronze, iron, wood and stone… and here I have to repent and ask for your forgiveness as surely as I had to ask God for His forgiveness…

I had been asking God for $1,000,000 a day for the preparations, when Jesus has said clearly, the denarius belongs to Caesar.  “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”  I had been asking from God what belongs to Caesar.  No, for God has said, The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,” “…the world is Mine, and all that is in it.”  The bronze, the iron, the wood and stone are His.  We need to ask and receive, to create and acquire true wealth with the power and ability that we have been given.  We need to create, acquire and produce gold, which is the word of God, and silver, which are the testimonies about Jesus Christ.  We need bronze, iron and wood, which are miracles, signs and wonders and stones, which are the people, the living stones of the Temple.

So, it is not $1,000,000 a day we need.  We need a million revelations a day from the word of God; a million testimonies a day from the people of God; a million miracles, signs and wonder; and a million people a day for God.  This is the budget that we must aim for and ask for to finance the preparations of the Temple of God and the Earth, so that the Lord Jesus’ arrival will be greeted with proper honour.

Have faith in God… He who has glorified His Son will also honour Him.  AMEN
