In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war…

The slumber of nineteen hundred years is over and the chill of winter is ending, as that which was sown into the ground now awakens and once more… the Kingdom of God will manifest on the Earth. As Paul wrote: …it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Now for those of us who have held fast to the teachings of Jesus, forsaking even that which the eleven wrote if it does not line up with Jesus’ own words, the truth that He promised to all His disciples is setting us free. Free finally from all the confusion, the religion, the superstition, and the traditions, genealogies and theologies that add nothing to eternal life, except this: Truly, the Lord was correct when He said, “I know that His command leads to eternal life.” And that command was, is and will always be: “This is My Son, whom I love. With Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!” For all that we need for life, eternal life, are in the words of Jesus, and each of us, as we put them into practice, produce the testimonies that confirm and verify that His words are truly true and God given… so that Jesus was not lying when He said, “So whatever I say is just what the Father has told Me to say.” And just as He said it would be… so it is that at the time of the end, the Kingdom of Heaven will be like the ten virgins who all fell asleep, and when they awoke, five found they did not have enough oil for their lamps but the others brought along spare oil. The lack of oil meant their light was going out and without light, they cannot see what is now being revealed. So it will be that many in the Kingdom of Heaven will not see the truth of what is being revealed, and even as they go and seek the oil they need to keep their lights burning… they will not be there when the Bridegroom arrives.

It is those who have entered the Kingdom of Heaven when they believed and repented, and then took the time to search out the word to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, who will have the oil to keep their lamps burning so that they will see that which is being revealed. And like the five virgins who had extra oil… they will be there to see Jesus arrive on clouds of glory.

However, in the grace of God… even those who did not bring enough oil as it were, will be given the more, if only they acknowledge the truth of Jesus’ words above all others, and thank God for what they have. For, as the Lord has said, “Everyone who has something will be given more, and they will have more than enough.” So, let those who have ears to hear, hear, for the time of slumber is over and as the Lord said to the three, “Are you still sleeping and resting?Enough! The hour has come.” But this is not the hour of the Son of Man’s betrayal, but the hour of His vindication that will herald in the day of His vengeance, the millennium of His reign on Earth, for with the Lord, a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day.

So awake! Arouse yourself from your slumber… if you lack oil, ask and it will be given to you, only hearken your ears to listen and clear your eyes of slumber to see. For, “…this is what the Kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

Remember dear reader, in the Kingdom of God parables, the seed is only the word… whereas in the Kingdom of Heaven parables, the seed is the word in the Parable of the Sower but is the sons of God in the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares.

So the seed that Jesus was speaking of in Mark 4.26 is the word of God, which has its own latent power that will achieve that which it is sown for without any help and despite the influence of men. However, once it is ready and produces what it was sown for, then it is up to men to respond to it so as to bring in the harvest, and in our case, if we respond to this – the manifestation of the word of God now – we will harvest the Kingdom of God. What do I mean? The harvest of the Kingdom of God is not a harvest of souls for Heaven… that is the harvest of the Kingdom of Heaven.

The harvest of the Kingdom of God is a harvest of the words of Jesus brought into the barns as it were, as testimonies to their truth and power. Testimonies that are achieved because men and women everywhere are now forsaking the words of mere men and turning to the pure words of Jesus as the Holy Spirit gives them conviction and revelation. As those words of Jesus are practised, so the testimonies are generated like grain harvested from the kernel, and the availability of these testimonies will finish the fulfillment of the necessary scriptures to have Jesus returned to us.

When Jesus is back once more in the flesh, seated on His throne in Heavenly glory once more, He will speak and His words will again be sown into the hearts of men and women. Except this time… He will not be speaking for only three years or so, but rather, He will be speaking for a thousand years. Like the grain that was harvested is a yield of thirty, sixty or a hundred fold of what was sown, so now, the words of Jesus that have been harvested will be sown again… and this time to yield thirty, sixty, a hundred fold of what was harvested. As such, the harvest of the Kingdom of God is not about souls… it is about the work of Jesus, and the effect of the harvest is so that the Sower can return to the field and once more sow that which has been harvested for an even greater yield. If His three years of ministry were a time of unprecedented wonders and miracles, now consider what His millennium of Kingship will be like.

That very word that Jesus had spoken has raised believers from unbelievers, disciples from believers, servants from disciples, friends from disciples, brothers from friends, and now kings from His own brothers. The thawing has been the light of His presence, the light of His word, the light of His life… the L/light is shining again out of the hearts of men and women to whom the royal command, “Listen to Him,” has been and is being restored. As the light grows more intense, the soil will warm and the dormant seed, which is the word His Father gave Him, will now grow, sprout and not stop until it yields the fruit for which it was sown – the kings who are the sons of God who are in the Stature of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Even as the shout goes out… and those who are in the Kingdom of Heaven everywhere hear it… so many will run to get more oil while those who have the spare oil will stay. It will be exactly like that in the days to come until the vindication of Jesus is complete and the day of His vengeance begins with His arrival. It will be a time when those who love the words of men more than they love the words of God, and love the theories and traditions of men rather than the truth and innovations of God, will oppose those who have listened enough to see that God has truly done a new thing and is even now continuing to do new things. In the beginning it will only be a grumbling, then it will rise to an argument and end in a war that will pit believers against believers, disciples against disciples, servants against servants… even a brother against a brother, but certainly, never a king against a king.

For the wars between believers started long ago when those who believed God according to Moses argued with those who believed Jesus… with some who called themselves the believers of Jesus even saying, “Unless you are circumcised, according to the custom taught by Moses, you cannot be saved. And others began to say, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas”; still another, “I follow Christ.” It is little wonder that the servants began to war against each other as to who was greater, for the disciples themselves came to blows and disagreements with even the apostles opposing each other to their faces. As for the brothers… James, the brother of Jesus through Mary, recommended three things that we Gentiles should do, which went directly against that which Jesus taught: The eating of strangled meat, the drinking of blood, and the eating of foods sacrificed to idols. Since salvation is through faith by the grace of God in Christ Jesus who said, “…I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart,” then by that same principle, anyone who has faith in Jesus and has eaten the bread and drunk the wine, by that same faith in His word, has broken Leviticus 17.10 and is cut off from God by the Law. Accordingly, a man who brings a teaching that speaks of righteousness by an act of the flesh, when by faith we have a contrary teaching, is an antichrist.

Until the kings arise, this warring between believers, disciples, servants, friends and brothers will not end, and whatever peace they may proclaim is fleeting and worthless. However, as once more the time of the kings returns – those who have the power and authority to be a king because of their obedience – then this fragile peace, which is really no peace, that veils the simmering hatred and distrust that exist in the hierarchies of the kingdoms of the church will be put to an end.

It is spring again… that is the season the dormant seeds of the Kingdom of God that had been sown are now ready to grow, as the light of His word reveals the disobedience of all who have not listened to Him that all may repent, every man proved a liar – believers, disciples, servants, friends and even brothers – but God the King alone be true.

And the King is ready for war. A war that will end the wars between His believers, disciples, servants, friends and even brothers… so that we may bid farewell to peace as the world gives, and begin the peace that the Lord alone can give.

It is time for war, fought with weapons not of this world but with divine power, to bring down every stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and take captive the thoughts of every mind and heart and make them obedient to Christ.

From the few, Christ will multiply the many as He gives thanks to His Father. It does not matter that there are only a few… it is what we have, and what we have is enough in the hands of Jesus… always remember this.

So, sound the alarm and awaken the sleepers, let every herald run and proclaim, “Listen to Him!” and let those who have ears to hear, hear; and having heard, let them consider carefully what they have heard and how they listen. For to those who have we will be given more, and to those who do not have, we will take away even what they have.

Repent and forgive… renew the covenant, celebrate the Passover, eat the flesh, drink the blood and rejoice that by faith alone in Christ, a man is saved. Then bow your head, bend your ears to listen and strengthen your feeble arms to practise until you are endowed with power from on high, even as you lean your heart to all obedience as you humble yourself so that God can exalt you.

To those who have not heard the Good News, we will bring the Good News. To those who heard and yet disbelieved and disobeyed, we say, “Repent and live!” Yes, repent and live, why should you perish, for once more, those ancient sons of God, the angels of God most High, are going through the Earth. Those who refuse to repent, they will remove like the tares from the field and throw them into the fire. Those who repent and believe will be harvested into the barns of God; and those who have been endowed with the power of the Most High will remain to see in the arrival of the Son of Man.

For, those who are elected by the Holy Spirit will be given the power of the Holy Spirit… power that their brothers, the angels, can see and acknowledge, power that makes them even judges of angels. And when this world has been so harvested, then the sowing for the Kingdom of God can begin again into the hearts of those who are left to inherit the Earth, as the Lord said, “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the Earth.” Meek enough to listen and obey, meek enough to save, meek enough to see the Lord’s power and grace.

It is spring, and the seeds that have been sown by the Man are now coming out of their slumber, and in a season from now… it will be harvest time, first for the Kingdom of Heaven and then for the Kingdom of God. It is a farewell to peace, for the present peace is useless and only deceives those who trust in it… and must be warred against until all things are fulfilled and the Prince of Peace is crowned King upon His throne.

Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” Truly blessed then are those who make the peace for the Prince of Peace to be crowned King.

Now, to God in Heaven as it was said, “Give us a king to lead us,” so once more we say… “Give us our King to lead us… Jesus Christ Himself! Lord, it is spring, a time when kings go to war… here is the ransom of the kings.” Amen

To hear is to obey… peace to all who abide in Him and in whom abides His words.
