1 John 3:2 ‘When He appears we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is…’

When we see Him as He is, that is what changes us to be like Him…

And being made in the image of God is the only way we could see God… see Jesus as He really is – and to see ourselves as we really are – not firstly as we should be in His sight, but as we truly are in His sight in comparison to Him –

For that is the truth that sets us free and sets God free, to be Himself and to reveal Himself – and to change what is not into what is… to change us from what we have become into what we were always meant to be…

For the victory of our change can only come through Jesus Christ our Lord… having made us so we can see God as He sees Himself… and in that stark revelation we see the comparison between Him and us… the One who in all truth is the Divine One seen against ones who have come from that Divinity and Oneness and yet still rejected all that He was in all of His Holiness and Wholeness.

God rejected by His own and still yet to receive justice for such a betrayal so He can enter into His eternity in complete and satisfying fulfilment ~

And when we step into the deep darkness of seeing ourselves against His Christ, we see God in His Highest, in His highest thought, which is Jesus… and in His deepest moment, which is Christ crucified before and from the creation of the world, for there is no higher thought than Jesus… no deeper moment than Jesus crucified… nor One more complete… nor One more full of glory or praise nor tears or joy.

For at the thought of Jesus, God is glorified and His tears become the river of Life, which flows through New Jerusalem for such is the glory and such is the joy that Jesus brings Him…

And so with the Eternal Spirit, we see ourselves in the light of the revelation of His Holiness and see the enormity of His victory and the hardest of teachings by which it came by, for they are the only way to see God as He really is and see ourselves as we really are and not to run from it, but acknowledge our great escape from perishing – our great escape from darkness into the light – from death into life – from knowing nothing to coming to know everything… if we dare to unravel it – if we dare to unravel the proof of it… the proof of such a life… the proof of such an eternal life… if we dare to go to that place… for it is an expression of His aloneness and His desire for what is yet to come, for it is what will be the fulfilment of He who is without measure and without containment but also He who is with desires and longings and plans and dreams.

For His universal Empires enter into Holy silence when it sees God in His fulfilment – when it sees God in His creation and sees His creation in Him and sees both at the renewal of all things.

And so we come to a place of excessiveness… a place of exceeding the usual and proper limit or degree of things – a place of extravagance and over the top powerful and productive imaginations concerning the things of God and the interests of God and the eternity of God and our life with God.

As we start exceeding what we formerly submitted ourselves to – exceeding and moving forward from the level at which we were all accepted at as sinners and then lifting our game – our attitude and our imaginations – and going the extra unlimited dimension, which Christ blazed a trail ahead of us for ~

For we are coming to know how high He dwells and really how far we fell and at what level He accepted us at, and from that and knowing that He gives His Spirit without limit… we are driven without limit into the recesses of the extremes of the Holy Eternal Spirit of God and it drives us to exceed every level we are brought to for His glory, as we see the level at which He stooped to bear fruit with us and so move into exceeding and being ever increasing in our excessive submissiveness to He who submitted Himself to paying the price that exceeded what our life was then worth.

He went the more… the extra… the greater… the greatest… to bring to us the hard, harder and the hardest things of God to understand – and He brings us with Him if we do not run from the hardest of teachings so we can exceed what we formerly thought was our boundary so as to exceed our pain threshold… our obedience threshold… our endurance threshold… our submission threshold… our faith threshold… our imagination threshold… and even our eternity-life threshold.

For we can be excessive in our submissiveness in that we become extravagant and move out of the regular and the usual and the normal way men submit to God and His Word and His plans and His ways and His thoughts and His commands because Jesus has gone there before us ~ Jesus is God’s indulgence unto Himself… God’s extravagance upon the perishing world and He is our extravagance – our drive into an out of the ordinary desperation to be the fulfilment of our God through Jesus Christ our Lord. It is His radical ways and His unusual ways as He went the extra mile, which in turn exalted us to the highest place…

The highest place of listening to Jesus – of listening to God’s highest thought and having the light of His Presence shine on us – for if we think we are humble before Him then we have already exalted ourselves, for as we have no self-righteousness of our own, so we have no true humility of our own – nor obedience – nor submissiveness before Him.

For it came to us as all things which are good do come to us – it came from God – it came from above… it came from God’s humble obedient submissiveness upon the cross of our salvation ~ Humbled in heart and in spirit and in mind and in flesh upon the cross of His salvation as His P/power sat in steadfast silence for God had become a Man… so men could become like God… and unless we can save ourselves then it is always His humility we walk in – always His faithful obedience to the Father that we stand firm in…

For it is His own humbling of Himself that allows us to listen to Him – to hear His voice – to touch His garment – to even repent, and for that to have been made sufficient for us to access His already prepared forgiveness, which exceeds what we are deserving of –

For He forgives and then also forgets – because the measure of His forgiveness is the measure of His pain of being rejected by His own ~

But without the flow of the eternal blood of Jesus, our repentance would not bring us close to the Father nor make our repentance lasting and true… without Jesus our ‘sorrys’ and our tears mean nothing because it is His tears that He shed for our repentance unto God – it is His humility before God… His obedience and His extreme measures to bring all into His eternity reconciled with Him, which allows us access to the mercy and grace to even call on His Name as so be saved by His beloved Son, whose Name was powered into the physical world for us to hear – for us to say – for us to be saved by, by a miracle from a miraculous God who takes what is Holy and sacred and above all else in its separation unto Him and delivers it into a world of the physical where it can be touched and stained and abused and reviled, so that the gap between us and Him could be bridged by Jesus Christ whose Name is above all other Names… and who He is and what He did allows us to be what and who we are to be, to not only the glory of God but to be the fulfilment and satisfaction of He who came and saw and forgave and forgot, so His eternity may come into the full eruption of its beauty and its candour and its untouched revelation of a Father and His Son and His Spirit and Their eternal dream, which They never gave up on… as the three of Them soar into the unknown, unexplored revelation of who They are to still be, and what They are to still live, and what Their love is still to experience.

And so we are already in an exalted state the moment He comes near to us – the moment He said, “Let there be light,” for He foreknew our demise into sin, and already He had elevated us by giving us His life and His dream…

His forgiveness before the sinning and His resurrection before the repentance…

He had already raised us to the highest of Holy Ground when He said come follow Him… and everything else is Him raising us into the highest sphere of bringing unto Him the glory that will usher Him in… setting off an unstoppable chain of events that will go to fulfilling the entire Empire, which is God Himself, which will go into fulfilling and satisfying His Majesty, the Lord God Almighty – and His desires for us… His desires for Himself…

For no other desires are existent if they do not bring us into our God to dwell for our eternity life with Him and for Him with the same humility that Christ had when He came into His world to give eternal life to us, for He is our humility… and when we take our eyes off Him we are devoid of any… for Jesus is our humility as He is our righteousness… and when we are far from Him, we are far from the powerful humility, which was born of the cross for us to walk in… for us to survive by when His power is made perfect in our weakness… that weakness which comes when we see ourselves compared to Him… when we see Him as He truly is, and when we see what we have done to Him… when we see what our rejection has done to Him and to know that to give Him justice is going to take all of what the Holy Spirit has come to impart into us… for to testify of Jesus is a raising of us to the height of His cross so we may declare Him with power… declare and glorify Him with the full power of the Cross… for by that power we were saved and without Him there would be no salvation… without Him there would be no glory – no reason for glory – and no life of glory…

And bringing justice to our Lord and God and being able to avenge His blood comes from seeing ourselves as we truly are in comparison to Him… and knowing why and how He must be avenged for we have seen and looked into the most intense light of Him and the deepest of darkness which He dwells in and saw the most intense pain which had to come before the most intense joy.

And what we saw was ourselves and the wretch we are… the worm we are… the nakedness we are in… and the pitiful sight we are before Him and it drives us into a desperation to ease His pain… to remove that pain and to usher in the joy… and it may seem like that being taken from His sight and our turning back to dust might remove His pain from before Him… but it will not, and so we have to use that pain… use that stark revelation of Him to drive us beyond the eternal barrier of who we are and to break forth out of our fallen nature and to be so like our Lord that to our Father, we are the exact representation of the Being of His Son…

For we have fought hard against Him and it has brought us to the wall and the only place we can look is at the glaring truth of how our sins against Him have released pain so intense that the horror and agony and physical pain of the cross was a release compared to the pain of being betrayed and rejected by His own.

It is to bring justice to Him who allowed us to repent and to be brought into the glory of Holiness – Of being separated unto Him in a way, which is way beyond any other separation we have had… so separated unto the Truth that the truth cuts us free from anything that has made us think we are equal to Him… equal to Him who even made Himself not equal to God when He came in the flesh to redeem all sinners, for it was not us wanting reconciliation but it was Him… always Him wanting and desiring to be reunited with the ones who hurt Him the most.

And we die… how we die to the delusion of how we thought the Lord feels when an avalanche of glaring truths give us insight to the depth of the dark hours He lives in… glaring truths that invade our whole being and reach down and extract the deepest of pain which can have us crying out with a sound like that of a wounded animal who can hide no more from the entrenched and wretched agonies of our sin against God and the pains of our life, which took form without Christ in it, but also our life that He permitted, for it brought us to Christ and into the sanctuary of His quiet but heart breaking sufferings – and it will be that life which will be taken into the mould as we are transfigured into the beauty of the highest thought of God – the Beauty of Jesus – the Beauty of the Lamb slain and the awe of God resurrected, making us more and more like Jesus who endured the extreme way of which it took to reconcile His creation unto Himself – bearing the greatest measure of pain – enduring the heart-wrenching, piercing pain of God betrayed… of God rejected… of God unfulfilled… which was then poured out and made one with the process of making He who is Perfect more perfect… more perfect so He could lead all repentant sinners into their eternal salvation and into their reconciliation with the Father… and so our wounds, which rise in us and produce in us cries of an unheard of sound, also are giving testimony of the work of Christ in us, the formation of Christ in us as He never stops working, never stops His work. For even for Him the end has justified the means, and so the pain never will subside until all is made new and all else is forgotten. For the deeper we look into His eyes, the deeper we are moving into our hidden and buried agonies and it is these again exposed raw wounds that tear us open and then transform us – for what takes us further into His glory is His sufferings – and the emptying out of our pain is our entering into His pain as it is measured out in accordance to our desire to know the very all of every part of Him…

And so we cannot come to know or even overcome what we do not understand – what we do not know the full truth of, what we have not heard the fullness of, what we have not seen the glory of… And there will never be any deep understanding until the light shines on the all of Him and we see Him as He really is and see ourselves as we really are, and see what we need to do to bring it all home with Him… And from that revelation can we enter down the road that brings justice to Him because we know why it has to be done and we understand the cutting truth of our shortcomings and have now the understanding that drives us into the extreme measures which it will take… the excessive measures it will take… the extravagant and over the top measures it will take to bring He who is the extravagant gift of God to the world back to this Earth one more time… one more time for us to get it right… only one more time for us to give the solid proof of the life which has been given us…

For we know that what we have, we have because of Jesus… what we have has come from His sufferings… has come from His rejection… has come from the shameful treatment He received… what we have has come because He humbled Himself before God and suffered the rejection of those He came to save… overcoming the rejection and rising above our hatred of Him and loving us unto death…

And exaltation of ourselves is always there until we have seen ourselves in the truth of Jesus and can see no reason why we are permitted to continue to exist… see no reason why Jesus would be so mindful of us… see no reason why He desires to draw close to us… see no reason why His Name is permitted to touch our lips as we truly acknowledge that our salvation was bought and paid for by the same One who we betrayed and rejected… the same One we have treated so shamefully, for compared to Him we are but insignificant and only worthy at best to be a part of the dust of the ground He walks upon –

But He lifts our eyes to His face and as the presence of Him reveals our wretchedness, He looks at us and loves us, and His eternal love covers us, as does the powerful presence of His understanding of us and His saving grace upon us – so undeserved yet so needed…

For the way He lifts our eyes to His is so much an expression of the complete and perfect Saviour He is and then we know that we can never have any humility of our own before Him… know that we can never have anything worthwhile to lay down for Him, for it is His humility that gave us a life worthy to lay down at His feet… it is His humility upon that cross, which is to become ours… for that is the humility that will keep us safe and close to Him… the obedience that will keep us safe and close to Him… the out of the ordinary submissiveness that will keep us safe and close to Him… and is the excessive drive that will take us past our own pain barrier and our own state of wretchedness before Him, bringing us to a place where to exceed what we formerly achieved through Him takes us on the narrow road to finally bringing justice to our Lord and Christ with the full power giving proof of His Life – proof of His Love – proof of His resurrection and proof of His return…

For it has to start somewhere and it has to start within us, for we are the ones who betrayed and rejected Him.

It has to come out of us… we have to see ourselves in the Light of the Truth of He who is our Victory and not run from it – and then the Holy Spirit has something solid and someone solid to entrust His power to… someone to entrust the avenging of the blood of Jesus to… so He can return bringing with Him our salvation, which we now will have a true and lasting understanding of… a true and lasting understanding of what it cost Him and what it should cost us in our quest to follow Him wherever He goes, with the proof of His Life powering out from us in all and every direction…

For we count the cost and then we know the truth, that it has already been paid for –

We count the cost of being a disciple and find Jesus already has paid it when He was discipled and disciplined by the Father unto shattering so that the price we pay is able to be paid by us because His discipleship by the Father was the hardest of teaching taken into the hardest of the hardest of all teachings – measure upon measure upon measure – the hardest of all discipleships He endured so we may be able to endure until the end and stand before Him and be like Him when we see Him as He really is, for the hard and harder and hardest of teachings that will stretch us beyond our former boundaries and thresholds and are for us to have a taste of His discipleship by the Father and His discipline unto shattering, so we may walk in our salvation and follow Him into the hardest of things to understand about our Father and God and to never give up…

For His understanding of us and His saving grace given unto us is to know what submitting to Him really is because we are now beginning to understand the reasons for our existence – our continued existence – and the undeniable pain it has caused the Lord and the glaring difference between us and Him – the expanse that separated us – the universe of transgressions we committed against Him and His Spirit of Holiness – and why the expanse can only be bridged by Jesus and Jesus alone… as we see the distance He went… the distance He stooped – how far He would go – how much He would do… how long He would wait… how deeply He would suffer and that He was the One who made the infinite distance between us but just a step – that if we just arose and listened and followed in His footsteps as the truth from above was revealed, then that huge expanse became but a step in time because the distance, that great distance between the Lord and us the sinner, became no distance at all because He took it up into Himself because He is the One who stepped into the gap because He is the One who became sin that was that gap because He is our hero – because He is our Saviour – our salvation – our repentance – our forgiveness – He is our humility and our righteousness – our obedience – our faithfulness – He is our life and when our life is in Him, He is our excessiveness before God… Jesus, God’s Indulgence unto Himself… and we cannot even know what being excessive toward God is until we see it in Him first… until we see His Jesus who is His most extravagant gift to His creation and until we know what is excessiveness… what His extreme extravagance means in the hour of His deepest darkness, which is revealed to us in our hour of deepest darkness… when we see no reason why God would want to keep us alive, the wretch that we are and then we see it – and then we see Jesus – we see God’s excessiveness… His extravagance to the world in His outpouring to us – stripping away all of which sheltered His heart and His thoughts… revealing His highest thought – revealing His Son that we may come to know and understand our God and so arise and walk… arise and listen… arise and shine and glorify Him and so be glorified with Him when we see God exceeding all His own expectations and going the extra mile… even before He created… going the extra mile by giving us Jesus… and then He went the extra frontier… giving us His Holy Spirit… and then the extra eternity giving us unheard of revelations of His Being, which would tear open our future with Him and exceed what He only dreamed, hoped and imagined for… as we finally responded to Him… driving Him into the increase of His eternity – the increase of the Empires of His future which He is moving toward.

As His revealing of Himself through Jesus, His Word, made us sit up and take notice – made us take flight and listen so we may hear as the wonder of the miracle of God in our life made us come back to life… made us have an anticipation and excitement of what was still to come in the things of God… made us rejoice at having a fellowship with Him which would never end… made us excited at what God had planned for Himself and us, and that how His plan unfolded depended on how we responded to Him as life came into its abundant form in us… as we listened… becoming faithful and obedient and full of His zeal for all to be made new… all to be exposed and to be lived… all to be lived in its fulfilment as we became full of interest for the things of God, which produced in Him an increased zest, enthusiasm, excitement, zeal, anticipation… to exceed His greatest dream… to build on His wildest desire… to add to His private hopes and to push further into His heart and further out into His eternity of life and to not stop… to never stop, for the satisfaction of the fulfilment of His heart… the fulfilment of His joy would and will drive Him into the wilderness of His mind and what it is still yet to think and into the open meadows of His heart and what it has yet to plan… what He has not yet dared to plan… for His painful heart has been flogged and ripped open, but now, this reality of the eternal fulfilment will drive Him to exceed Himself by increasing, for even though it is already of the greatest it can still swell in volume and momentum… it can increase and it can bring out from Him… bring out from the Father, the Son, the Spirit all He has not experienced before… the life He has not experienced before… the response He has not experienced before… even the love and respect and acceptance from His own creation He has not experienced before… and now it will not be the rejection of His own, but it will be the love from His own which will be the very air He breathes as He exceeds His own dreams for His life which will be as sweet to Him as ever He has experienced sweetness of life and love before…

A gift from above for us and a gift from below for Him and it will make us want to exceed the usual or proper limit or degree, to take what is normal and break it in two and to be excessive for that is to be indulgent, extravagant, extreme, exorbitant, over the top… over the top for Jesus… over the top for God… that is life in its abundance and life working as it was meant to work… over the top for our God indulging, immersing Him in the honour of receiving back to Himself the Testimony of His Son that has brought forth all and every extremity of His unusual and extreme sacrifice –

A testimony of His Son exceeding the usual and so called proper limit by taking it to a degree that the Holy Spirit is waiting for… taking ‘proof of life’ into its exceedingly extreme, excessive measure, for that will bring Jesus back on clouds of glory… that will bring back the One who is The Proof of All Life in its completed and perfect and undeniable form, for with Him we can and will exceed the most extreme extravagant angle of every degree of the spectrum of the Testimony of Jesus Christ who is the Revelation of God because He is permitting us to come to know He who is extreme… permitting us to come to understand He who is extravagant… permitting us to come and know and understand He who is our ‘proof of life’ and our ‘proof of love’… permitting us to come to know and understand the highest thought of God… permitting us to come to know the far extremities of the extravagance of the eternity of God… the greatest indulgence of God unto Himself…

Jesus Christ our Lord and our King… Jesus Christ our Saviour who came to us riding on a colt, the foal of a donkey, and will come to us again but this time riding on the clouds of glory – glory which will change us from mortal to immortal – perishable to imperishable – unglorified to glorified.

For we are stripped before Him as He was stripped before us ~ We have nothing of our own which is good that is why we were given what was alone the Father’s and what alone was good… so alone, we would be no more but good we would now know forever more.

With Christ as our Righteousness… our Humility… our voice before the Father… our Holiness before the Holy Spirit with our repentant hearts dripping with His blood, which graciously forgives instead of crying our for vengeance as ours does –

For being made in His Image is what allows us to see the fullness of God with all the mystery, which hid Him, folded back so we can see the hard, the harder, the hardest truths giving us our final transfiguration before He who is the completion of all and every Truth and the transfiguration of God before us is what will transfigure us before God… God’s word fulfilled in us… the beauty of its glory and the beauty of its suffering… now perfectly revealed in its oneness.

Otherwise we would never see the fullness of God nor hear the fullness of His voice so as to be brought into the hardest of all things to know and understand about Him – to be brought into the truths on which the Eternal Kingdom is founded… the truths which are so hard – so eternal – so indestructible – so truly what gives God His everlasting glory that His eternity is set in place by the measure of the glory that they give to God and to the Everlasting Kingdom of the Son of His Love – the Kingdom of the P/power of His Christ, which drives us and powers us and sustains us so we can enter through the narrow door of the all of God – to be able to walk within it in the glory which changes – to stand in the solidness and weight and authority and responsibility of the glory of oneness and the power of the glory of understanding and knowing Christ –

Understanding why He is the only One who ever could give access to what He purchased with His blood – as we rise and walk through the corridors saturated with the glory of the presence of God who came into the form of the physical to reconcile us to Himself – reconcile to Himself ones born of the flesh in His Image – redeeming us and allowing us to again have respect for ourselves by forming Christ in us… the perfect and perfected Son of Man in the flesh and for us to take that into our eternity as our own… an experience of our own that Christ now in us be our human experience… all else forgotten… and that at the end of it, our experience in the flesh would be Christ in us the hope of glory and more still Christ in us the knowledge of glory…

With now the extravagant nature of His eternity already moving into its increase, making the unchartered frontier of God open like huge manifold doors, slowing opening, making way for His Holiness… His Majesty… to enter into His Eternity Life with all and everything reconciled to Him in a oneness which brings us to live with the exalted and glorified Ancient of Days – And for us to walk in the deep of L/love out from which we were given life and to come face to face with it and know the deep from where it did come… that it was never hollow but always so intense… never unresponsive but always passionate… and to know that life and to love the hardest of teaching and to love that Narrow Door…

For the hardest of teachings refined us so much so that we could enter… it prepared us so well that we could endure… it changed us so much that we could understand the deep… it transfigured us so completely that when we saw the Narrow Door and when we stepped into its confines… into how it separated us from the world and took us only into the rooms and thoughts and interests and W/word of God… its form we saw… and it became the unlimited form of God Himself… the narrowness the hardest of all teachings so as to hear and bear and endure and to understand the place from which they came – to fathom out their source – so as to know their meaning and within the confines and yet unlimited form of the Narrow Door it became revealed as His love bearing its fruit in season and out of season – and the Love that Life holds – and the Life that Love is… the jealously Life has to live its abundance for God… to live the abundance of God… and for the life God has in Him in all its power, to be made known and to be lived and to be brought into its fulfilment in all His creation and by His creation, for it is unstoppable… it is from everlasting to everlasting… and without His Holiness we will not see it, for without His Holiness we will not see the Lord… without His Holiness we will not see His many forms and Him as He really is… we will not see the Narrow Door as it really is… nor the hardest of teachings as they really are… for Jesus took the broad path to destruction and crushed it in His hand by becoming sin because He took up the distance placed between God and us and said, ‘Now make every effort to enter through the narrow door for many will try to enter and will not be able to, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and may enter through it, but small is the gate and narrow the road that lead to life and only a few find it…’

Narrow because it is not all men who lead us to the Father but only One – only by One Man can we enter the door… the width of one man but that One Man is without limit for He is the extravagance of His God and His Father’s Eternity

He is the Love out of which our life was given and He is the deep from where it did come ~

And from the deep, our Testimony of Jesus will come – a Testimony exceeding the usual and so called proper limit by taking it to a degree that the Holy Spirit is waiting for… taking ‘proof of life’ – love and resurrection into its exceedingly extreme, excessive measure because that is the measure Jesus poured out unto shattering and unto death that we may endure the hardest of teachings so the Holy Spirit will have something solid and someone solid to entrust His power to… to entrust the avenging of the blood of Jesus to… so He can return bringing with Him our salvation, which we now will have a true and lasting understanding of, so one more time we have to get it right to give the solid proof of the Life which has been given us through He who is our Victory… through He who is our humility… through He who is the extravagance of God –

JESUS, God’s extravagance and indulgence unto Himself, which He sent into the world to save it…

To show us the measure by which He loves… to show us the measure by which He would go and the measure of which He gave of Himself to have all reconciled unto Himself… and that Christ in us – in the redeemed… Christ in us the hope of glory… the knowledge of glory will be our eternal experience of our life on Earth when all is made new and all else is forgotten…

AMEN
